Our mission is to provide services and support for Denver’s families so they can succeed. We engage in proactive efforts to prevent abuse and neglect, while respecting families, their culture and providing services in the least intrusive manner possible. Our values center around cultural competency, respect and providing neighborhood-based services. We help families in need by connecting them to a variety of services across the city.

Fresh Start, Inc. along with 13 partnering agencies formed the Capitol Hill Family Collaborative in 2005. Reflective of its values of inclusion and diversity, it now has over 50 partners and will continue to grow to meet the emerging needs of our families. Fresh Start serves as the lead agency. Since 2005, we have served over 1,200 families.
